Hyundai Aura launched; Price, variants, features, specifications

The compact sedan segment in India will go to be hotter because a new player in the form of Hyundai Aura arrived. This segment is already full of juice vehicles like Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Honda Amaze and Tata Tigor. While it might not be easy for the new Hyundai Aura to place his name in the rank, the new compact sedan is definitely going to give its opponents a run for their money in the long run.

The new Hyundai Aura comes with all futures we expect a compact sedan to have. In addition, there are segment-first and segment-best features also present. Hyundai Aura Price

The Hyundai Aura has been priced from Rs 5.8 lakhs to Rs 9.24 lakhs. The vehicle is available with both petrol and diesel engine. Along with 6 gear and AMT options. The prices of each variant are as given below.

The price of Hyundai Aura starts is lower than the base price of the Hyundai Xcent. This shows how sensitively the Hyundai Aura has been priced.

Aura Engine Specifications

The 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine is the same as available in the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios. This 1.2-litre engine makes 83bhp of power. The new BS6 compliant diesel engine is coming for the first time on the Hyundai Aura. The new engine generates about 75bhp of power with 190 Nm of torque. These both engines come with 5-speed manual gearbox as well as 5 Speed AMT gearbox.

The petrol engine also comes with an option of CNG but there is a difference in power. It is available in only manual gearbox. The CNG variant generates 69bhp of power and 95 Nm torque. It offers a mileage of 25.35 km/l for manual diesel engine and for the AMT is 25.4 km/l. The petrol gives a mileage of 20.5 and 20.1 respectively for Manual and AMT. The CNG model gives 28.4 km/kg of great mileage but you can feel some power loss.

Hyundai Aura is also offered with a 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo petrol engine. This engine is the most powerful engine. The engine generate 100bhp of power with 172 Nm torque. This variant comes with a manual transmission only. It has been focused on power users who love for the fun of driving. This engine provide 20.5 km/l of mileage.

The new Hyundai Aura comes with a very dynamic look and with features like projector headlamps, twin boomerang DRLs, Z-shaped LED tail lamps and 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.

Aura has a lot of similarities as on the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios. The dashboard, switchgear, control and seats were as same as Grand i10 Nios. The new Aura comes with a 5.3-inch digital instrument cluster. The infotainment system is 8.0-inch touch screen panel. The 8.0-inch touch support with Android Auto and Apple Carplay. The Aura gets an Arkamys sound system. Also, the vehicle gets wireless charging and a cooled glove box. This is also seen with AC vents are the rear along with an armrest.

Hyundai Aura Warranty

The Aura comes with a ‘Wonder Warranty’ that gives the customers three choices — 3-year/1 lakh km, 4-year/50,000 km and 5-year/40,000 km. Also available is the road-side assistance.
